Hi, I’m Remko van der Mei, and I’m Dutch and I live in Dordrecht, The Netherlands.
Apple Inside is where I comment on and write about stuff that’s interesting and useful to me. My focus is on developments in information and communication technology in general and Apple (related) products, Open Source and Web 2.0 developments specifically, but occasionally I’ll write about other things too.
I’ve been working in IT since 1997. Currently I’m working as an IT architect at KPN, the biggest telecoms service provider in The Netherlands. I specialize in Telecoms Operations, IT Architecture, IT Managment and IT Outsourcing. Within KPN I am working on KPNs IT architecture related to the Operational Support Systems for KPNs Business, Service and Network Operations. Note that any opinions expressed on this site are my personal opinions, and not necessarily shared by my employer.
If your company needs help with switching to Apple products or adopting open source strategies, I’m available for consulting. Sound interesting? Contact me and we’ll work something out (which will obviously be easier if you too are based in The Netherlands).
If you have any comments on this site or any of my entries, or any questions you want to ask me, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
